Usage and Maintenance
-
When using the new battery for the first time, if pressing the power button once does not start the laptop, press 2–3 times consecutively. This is part of the battery’s initialization process and is normal. Some devices may require connection to the charger for the first boot.
-
After installing the new battery, charge it for 3–4 hours continuously. You can use the laptop while charging. If the power display is inaccurate at first, it will calibrate itself after several cycles of use.
-
Daily use: Recharge the battery promptly when power is below 10%. Avoid deep discharge as it can damage the cells.
-
Long-term storage: Charge the battery to around 80% before removing it for storage. Recharge at least once every three months.
-
Pay attention to heat dissipation. Especially for built-in batteries, long-term overheating can damage the battery. During heavy use or gaming, it is recommended to plug in the charger.
-
If the new battery fails to charge, the issue may also be caused by an aging or insufficient charger output. Please test with another charger before concluding.
