A Clear Guide to Our Lithium Battery Wire Sequence

To ensure safety and the proper function of your device, it's essential to understand the polarity of your battery connector. This guide will show you how to identify the wire sequence according to our company standard.

How to Identify the Correct Polarity

Please hold the connector with the exposed metal pins facing you. From this view, observe the position of the red and black wires to determine the sequence.

Definition 1: Forward Wire Sequence

A connector has a Forward Sequence if, when looking at the exposed metal pins:

  • The RED (+) wire is on the RIGHT side.
  • The BLACK (-) wire is on the LEFT side.

Definition 2: Reverse Wire Sequence

A connector has a Reverse Sequence if, when looking at the exposed metal pins:

  • The RED (+) wire is on the LEFT side.
  • The BLACK (-) wire is on the RIGHT side.
